Terms of Service

1. Agreement

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the AlgoBotLab website and platform (the "Service"), operated by AlgoBotLab ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority where you live if that is higher, to use the Service. By using it, you confirm that you meet this requirement and that your use complies with the laws that apply to you.

3. The Service

AlgoBotLab lets you build trading strategies without writing code and test them on historical market data ("backtests"). The Service is a research and educational tool. It does not connect to any broker, place real orders, or manage money on your behalf.

4. Not financial advice

Backtest results are hypothetical. They are simulated on past data and do not guarantee future results. Simulations rely on assumptions (such as spreads, fills, commissions and swaps) that may differ from real trading, and every report lists the assumptions it used. Scores, insights and other automated readings are general, rule-based observations, not recommendations.

Nothing on the Service is financial, investment, tax or legal advice, and we are not a licensed investment adviser or broker. Trading involves substantial risk of loss. You are solely responsible for your own trading and investment decisions.

5. Market data

Historical price data comes from third-party sources and may contain gaps, errors or delays. We run automated quality checks and show known issues where we can, but we do not guarantee that the data is complete or accurate.

6. Your account

You must give accurate information when you register and keep it up to date. You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for all activity under your account. One person may not share an account with others. Tell us promptly at support@algobotlab.com if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.

7. Credits and payments

• Backtests are paid for with credits. The cost of each backtest is shown before you run it.
• Credits are purchased through our payment provider (Stripe). Prices are shown at checkout.
• Credits do not expire, have no cash value, and cannot be transferred or exchanged for money.
• If a backtest fails because of an error on our side, the credits reserved for it are returned automatically.
• All credit purchases are final and non-refundable, except where a refund is required by law or the purchase was charged in error.
• Credits are digital content delivered immediately. By completing a purchase, you ask us to deliver them right away and acknowledge that, where local law allows, you lose any statutory right to withdraw from the purchase once the credits are added to your account.

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use the Service for any unlawful purpose;
• try to bypass usage limits, pricing, security or access controls;
• scrape, bulk-download or resell the market data, reports or other content of the Service;
• interfere with the Service or place an unreasonable load on it, including through automated means;
• copy, reverse-engineer or build a competing service from the Service.

9. Your content

The strategies you create remain yours. You give us permission to store, process and display them only as needed to operate the Service for you. We do not share your strategies with other users.

10. Our property

The Service, including its software, design, market data sets and reports format, is owned by AlgoBotLab or its licensors. These Terms give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service; they do not transfer any ownership to you. You may use the reports you generate for your own purposes.

11. Availability and changes to the Service

We aim to keep the Service available but do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may change, add or remove features, and may update pricing for future purchases. Credits you have already purchased are not affected by price changes.

12. Suspension and termination

You can delete your account at any time from the Account page. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these Terms or puts the Service or other users at risk. Unused credits are not refunded when an account is deleted or closed for breaking these Terms.

13. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

14. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, AlgoBotLab is not liable for any trading or investment losses, lost profits, or indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service or reliance on its results. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability. In that case, these limitations apply only to the extent permitted, and nothing in these Terms limits any consumer rights that cannot be waived under the law where you live.

15. Indemnity

You agree to cover any claims, losses or costs that arise because you broke these Terms or misused the Service.

16. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page, and for significant changes we will notify you by email or on the Service. If you keep using the Service after the changes take effect, you accept the updated Terms.

17. General

If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our not enforcing a provision is not a waiver of it. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and us about the Service.
